ARE YOU BORED YET?

Are you bored yet? It’s not a question I image you ask yourself that often.  Are you bored?  Maybe there are some things you are bored with? Maybe you are fed up cooking the same dishes, eating the same food.  Maybe you are bored of the people you spend time with, the places you visit, your job.  Maybe you’ve watched all the shows you like on all the streaming services you’ve subscribed too.  The more I write, maybe you are bored?

My question isn’t about any of the aspects of life I’ve mentioned above. What I’m bored with is having to hear, talk and watch the actions and words of one man.  Yes you know who I’m talking about, Mr Donald Trump, that guy.  I am so bored of having to think, listen and talk about this one man. Are you bored yet?  We live in a word full of billions of human beings and yet we seem obsessed with one man.  Are you not bored by this!

Even if this particular man was really interesting, i mean really really interesting, like he had invented a cure for cancer, or figured out how to make products that had packaging that were completely non polluting and recyclable, or had given every single human being one million dollars, or had created transport that was free and totally clean, or had created a way to grow vegetables without the use of any chemicals on a massive scale, or had written the most beautiful music, or had created a work of art so magnificent it brought tears of joy to people.  I am coming up with things off the top of my head here, but this man, this man you all are so obsessed with, has done what exactly, what exactly is so invigorating about this person, what exactly is so attractive, so awe inspiring, that we spend so much time focusing on him and his cohort of fantasists?

That’s a rhetorical question by the way, I am not asking you to tell me why you like or dislike D.Trump.  I am not interested, right, i am friggin bored of the man and of all the people who make money talking about him.  I mean, think about it, every news channel, late night talk show host, comedian makes money out of him.  Even the people that hate him, make money out of talking about him.  When he’s gone what are people gonna talk about? You have to hand it to him in that regard, no wonder his ego is so big, everyone wants to talk about him whether they hate him or like him.

When I was in school, there was always bullies, these were people who were normally very boring people, they really didn’t have any charisma, their charisma was to impose themselves on other people.

When you are being bullied by someone and you have to deal with them, in my case, i never backed down from a bully, so therefore I had a lot of fights, altercations and issues with bullies and their followers.  After I had dealt with them or I put them in their place, or I called the police and filed a complaint, or I got called into the headmasters office - I never thought about them again.  I never wanted anything to do with them, I never had anything to do with them.

A bully is someone you want nothing to do with, they try and impose themselves on you, over you, and if you are of such a disposition, if you’ve been educated properly, you know bullies at their core are cowards.  A coward is a coward is a coward. D.Trump is a bully and a coward.  He’s the most boring human being alive today, alongside Putin, who are both of course murderers, lauding themselves as hero’s, what a fucking farce.

The thing about bullies and cowards is they have very little to offer, they just take from people.  With bullies there are always those that fear them, that join them, that support them.  In school it was no different, the bully always find a few people to help them on their quest.

I was never swayed by D.Trump.  I was never swayed by any politician really.  Obama for all the work he tried to do ended up like all President’s, becoming a murderer.  D.Trump is a murderer, Joe Biden is a murderer.  This is always the case with the Commander in Chief of the largest military force in the world.

The idea that the Commander in Chief can bring about positive change to the world is a stretch.  The military aren’t the best at diplomacy, they are great at training soldiers and having wars.  There are actually a lot of other options, other conversations to be had, other people to listen to.

Why do we idolize certain men, certain kinds of people, certain people in positions of power.  Why do we let the bullies get away with murder.  It goes all the way back to school, and all of this is playground malarkey.  It’s kids stuff.  Kids get a kick out of silly things, like beating someone up, or thinking they are better than others.

In one sense you are what you grow up with, who you grow up with, what you are taught.  It seems that many people are taught that one man is more interesting to listen to than the other seven billion or so humans that exist on our planet.  All the pundits, shows and news channels promote this idea, that in life there are but a few interesting people.  I beg to differ.

The one interesting person, that is really really really really interesting, if you really dig into it, is yourself.  Now depending on who you think you are, i might be interested in listening to you, but at the end of the day, life is pretty short, how much time can i really spend listening to all these other people, especially if all these other people spend their time talking about one other person, the same person.

It’s time to kick this to the curb, like the bullies in school.  It’s time to bring in a new conversation, it’s time again.  Are you not totally and utterly bored?  Are you not really fucking bored of this shit?
